The Lord is near. Do not worry: he will supply you with all things. Do not be anxious. Desire no more than what you have.
Worrying is carrying tomorrow's load with today's strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.
Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.
