Quote 4006
Contrary to popular thinking among beginning Greek students, God did not choose Koine Greek as the language of the New Testament because it was more precise than any other language. Indeed, one of the ways it is terribly imprecise relates to when a Greek writer is quoting someone else. Why? Because the Greek language did not use quotation marks.
